Presidents News!

I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying

the start of spring. I am thrilled that I can finally

put away my coat for several months. As we

move forward in the year – I hope to see you

at our upcoming dinners and of course a few

special events that we have on our agenda. April’s

dinner will be at Ale House by Amatos. It’s a nice casual restaurant located right off I-25 and Speer in the Highlands District.

We are in the planning stages of another SKAL picnic and will be sure to give you enough notice on the date. Doug has arranged for another Rockies Game on the 14th of August vs. The Reds. We will be starting to work on a golf tournament and the Annual SKAL Auction for this fall. If you are interested in assisting – please let me know.

I want to give a HUGE thanks to Ed Gerrity and Bill O’Connor. They are working together to make our club stronger with the addition of several new possible members. Thanks Guys. I really appreciate your hard work for our Club.

If you have an idea on a guest speaker – please let Marcie know. She has agreed to continue her work from last year to have education a priority for our Club.

And finally – I have heard only from a few who would like to volunteer to help grow a stronger club within Membership, Young SKAL, Education, Sponsorship opportunities, Auction and many other ventures we are trying to accomplish this year. If you are interested in helping better our Club – please contact me. I won’t be at the April meeting – please enjoy and I’ll see all of you in May. SKAL!
